"I know because I did plenty of those kind of drives when I was in school.....way back in the dark ages....before 'dirt' was 'invented'...." -my Dad. Heh. Before dirt was invented. Wow. Good game.
Going to Charlotte this afternoon, I'm excited. Dwight is coming with me, and Chris will be coming in early morning lol. But yay! And the three of us will be seeing the Myers Park Marching Mustangs at their last competition. Yay :) I'll sport my green and white, bitches.
Chapel Hill is stressing me out. BUT, I found that I am interested in something ELSE (surprise, surprise). Anthropology. Mmm, and UNC has a lot of courses that are SO interesting. Tasty. I still love Brevard though. I talked with Dr. McDowell for a bit after reviewing my Degree Plan with Dr. Hoke. She said that she minored in French, and was suggesting to do saxophone as a secondary, saying that that will be a key into getting a music ed job (I'll need the jazz experience). So cool.
I almost cried in my oboe lesson the other day. I just was not feeling it, and my embouchure felt impossible. I was doing awesome in band though.. *sigh* So it goes. I'll ride it out. And I need to just start practicing and working regardless of love and motivation (or LACKTHEREOF) to do so.
I went to the library after dinner two nights ago, and stayed in there for two and half hours. I hadn't been yet this semester. I loved it :) I was reading some cool stuff about life, like last semester. It was nice.
Time for english, literally, it's 10:30.
I want to live with Laura, Chris, Cedric, Katrina, and John. That'd be hot.
But so would living with Dwight, Megan, and Dora. I love them. If I transfer, I'll still be driving 4 hours at least once a month. To come see them. Yay.
