God I love band. And the band parents. They make me feel so at home and make me wish I was still with the band. But really... and the first 14 measures of the show this year, WOW--the judges will have a great first impression from them. It's hot. Matt McKee came by today too, so that was cool. But I left today just feeling so damn happy. Clay is doing so much better than I thought he would be too, so that's awesome. Aaah, I miss it so much. It's one thing that I'm really good at and really have a passion for. Eeep. And I'm getting lots better at the mellophone. I have almost the entire show memorized already, and some stands tunes. WORD. I'm going to learn it well. And one day, do DCI. Because if I don't, I'll regret it for the rest of my life.
And I miss Chris lots. I'm such a dork. BUT! I get to meet his Mom on Friday because I'm heading up to Raleigh for a Friday night and part of Saturday. She's coming in from China for a little bit. Exciting :) And then I'll most likely be back in time for the annual MPMB PotLuck Dinner @ Windy Rush, whenever that is going to be on Saturday. Word. But yay. He makes me happy inside. <3
AND bedtime. I get to sleep in a little tomorrow. WORD again.
