quoth Viggo Mortensen. Mmm.
I adore LOTR, the greatest cinematic endeavor of past, present, and future.
I'm becoming smitten with someone I hardly know. How dreadfully girlish of me, to love from afar lol. I shall remedy it :)
Narnia is amazing. And Harry Gregson-Williams is amazing.. I adore his suspensions and the horns in that film score beyond words. And Mr. Tumnus :) Good job and good acting all around, good movie all around.
RENT is amazinger. Wonderful, really. Props to Jonathon Larson for that musical. It would be a grand thing to write one, really. AMAZING voices and powerhouses, and quite moving. Wondrous.
My first semester at college as ended. Kind of scary in a way. But exciting, and new. I'm so focused on what lies ahead, and what could be the path I should try to follow. It's so frightening and stressful to me, but I can't wait for it to keep going. I could try to be in Blast, on Broadway, in a symphony, teaching young musicians, instructing DCI, bartending some nights, massaging and healing, singing in smokey cafes... the possibilities!
All classes next semester are music, along with trumpet lessons, a good part in the musical, a part in a friend's one-act, and workstudy in the Porter Center (hopefully), and acapella. EEEP!
Narnia makes me want to fall in love.
So does Hayley Westenra's "What You Never Know".
DAMNIT I miss Avalon. The people and the fun and the stories and the roleplaying and the deaths :) It's so damn exciting. I'll be back one day, I just have to get my life started, that's all.
Oh, and once I have a substantial job that brings in a good income, I'll be paying back the debt that is racking up with my parents. So far, over 3500. I would so greatly love to erase October 23, 2005 from my life, but I suppose there were good points (the Asheville Symphony, friends, and Avalon early morning). MEH.
I love joking with my parents.
It is cold outside, but good to be back.
Christmas is coming, and the spirit and merriment!
And dreamland, where all is right and warm.
