Managed to slice my finger open with a boxcutter at work today. In front of customers. While joking that i hoped i wouldn't cut myself. Sigh. Then had to sprint to the pharmacy holding my bloody finger so that they could help me take care of the biohazard i was creating. We stopped the bleeding and took a look at it, determined i wouldn't need stitches and bandaged me up. Have to go into work tomorrow with the manager that regularly jokes that i am not allowed to use sharp things. i also happened to be cutting away from myself in an effort to prevent injury. Only me, i swear to god. At least it was a really funny ending to my shift. i think we all had some fun with it once we determined i wasn't going to like bleed out or need stitches.
