TRYING to get back in the habit of blogging again.
I considered moving to blogspot or wordpress to start fresh again on the blogging scene but I just haven't had the time nor the motivation to do so, as of... a long time.
Was sick last week thanks to Andrew. He had some funky bug, and hence I caught it off him. That put me out of action for the good part of a week but I still dragged myself to uni for lectures. On the weekend it was pretty bad, and the guilt of being a sick person doing nothing was too much for me to bare.
So I did a 9 page microbiology assignment in 2 days, while sick.
Currently, my momentum has worn off and I'm sitting here rather frustrated on a genetic population assignment on C. elegans (Oh dear God, you know I'm a hardcore sciences/micro geek when I actually italicize organisms) and a physiology assignment on breath-holding and dyspnoea.
Yesterday's physio tute made me realized that I completely fucked up my discussion for the physio assign. I think I've got to re-write the whole damned thing again. And honestly, genetics is no better. 5 weeks work in 750 words, and it's all statistical crap which I loathe.
Meanwhile, the best song to listen to while doing a genetics assignment is 'Runs in the Family' - Amanda Palmer. Beautiful references to genetic maladies and the contextual.
