We had to take Wilbur to the vet this morning.  He was wobbly and couldn't stand and he got really bloated.  I was freaking out becuase I thought his kidneys might be failing (he has chronic renal failure).
Anyway, Mom was at work when all of this was happening and she was unwilling to come home because she hadn't paid the emergency vet we went to last time adn didn't have any money.  It sucked.  I seriously thought he was going to die, and she kept saying "I don't know what I can do."
But yeah, we took him to the vet and it turns out he has a low heart rate and that's why he was weak and he had a bladder infection so he swelled up.  They did an ECG and blood tests and gave him antibiotics.  They wanted to do an X-ray, but we can't afford it at the moment (and I don't know if we will antime soon).  All that cost $205.  Mom's been sulking because she used her truck payment to pay them (though she really didn't have to; we've paid this vet later before.  Or I think so.  I don't know if she paid those bills either).
I'm glad he's okay.  All Mom can think about is money.  It'd be nice if she'd listen to my money saving suggestions.  Not that that would help us now but if she'd listened to me before, we wouldn't be having so many problems.  I think she likes to be stressed out.

cats, and all that cal, money
