So, here I am, drinking my bitter coffee, and I haven't written a word.
I did do some crafty things earlier, though.  When I'm done making a really shitty picture, I might upload it.
Or I might not.
But yeah, I made a notebook.  The covers are Egon Schiele's artwork (because I can't be bothered to draw my own.  Now that I think about it, that'd be totally badass.  Sadly, I lack ambition.  Otherwise, it'd be covered with my characters and filled with my stories, and it'd be adorable, and... yeah.), and I bound it a bit wrong.  Hey, it's my first notebook, so I have an excuse.
I... I'm not sure where I was going with that.  Anyway.  It's still raining.  I might go on a walk (that helps sometimes), but I don't think I want to ruin my hair, haha.  Not that I've put it up; it's been stuck in down mode for awhile now.  I don't like it, but I'll learn to live with it.  I can't not leave the house because my hair's not cooperating.  That's a Melina thing.
In other news... there's nothing much to say.  Oh.  My birthday's coming up.  Okay, yeah, so is Melina's, but this is my blog and it's about me.  But anyway, Melina and I already got each other things (I got her that exercise bike, and she got me... well, she threw ten dollars at me.  I'm still a little upset about it, but it counts.), so I don't think it'll be very interesting.  Mom doesn't have any money, so we're probably not going to get anything.  I don't mind not getting gifts, but you know, I have a feeling we're not going to do anything.  I suggested we go to the art museum, but Melina doesn't really want to go.  And it's not like they have any Egon Schiele, so there's no point, haha.  And I was just there a couple years ago, so... yeah.  We never look at the modern stuff, though, and I'd like to look at the Kirchner's again.  I saw the one and it totally floored me, even though it's been there years.  I'm more into that stuff (Expressionism and Pop Art) now than I was before.  And they have a couple of Lichtenstein's and a Warhol and a Mondrian (I know, not the right time period), which I'd love to see again.  Our art museum has a ton of great stuff.  What I was saying was, it bothers me that Mom only ever wants to hang out on a holiday.
Yeah.  I really meant this to be a short entry, but I'm kind of ramble-y today.

P.S.  Melina just went into a tirade about how there's not enough body hair in art, especially not on women.  I show her some Egon Schiele paintings, and she says it  isn't enough.
Melina: "You never see leg hair in paintings."
Me:  "You try painting leg hair."

crafty things, and all that cal, conversations, art, writing
