Overload
I just haven't felt like writing as of late. Too much has been going on. Too much I've been weary to get into. Some things, I think, are just better not put into words.
The Xmas Curse has continued. With every seemingly good thing has come an opposite bad. Our pup, Schatzie is still with us. The lump in her throat turned out via the biopsy to not be a tumor. However, she has 3 infections, one of which cannot be controlled or remedied via medication. It is only a matter of time now when our goodbyes will have to be said.
Shortly after this good news, I threw out something in my neck/back which left me in pain and home from work for a few days. I am doing better now after many visits to my chiropractor that cost me monies I didn't really have to allocate to that. I have been doing alright but I am feeling some tenderness and wrong movement today. Suppose one more trip after Xmas and payday would be alright.
Last Wednesday another blow hit my little world. After returning to work from lunch I got a phone call from my Dad's cell phone. It was his coworker, Duane, informing me that he had taken my Dad to the ER at Sparrow (the hospital in Lansing nearest our offices) with chest pains. After 2 very long exhausting days, he did not have a heart attack, his heart is in excellent condition (a minor 10% blockage in one artery that will be controlled with medication). Worst days ever. Hence my lack of detail.
Preparing to move is a pain in the ass...especially when I'm afraid to really lift a whole lot and screw up my back again...and I lack totes to pack things into like I had before...le sigh. We should be getting the keys soonw hen Marty gets home from getting his stuff in Idaho. Then the move in the snow commences...
I'm excited to be in the new place though. I love it. I just hope the stuff the three of us have will fit ok...we have a lot of crap...well not me so much but Marty/Aaron have a lot of stuff...
So much going on...so little strength left in me...
Semester of school is done, went well I think. Learned a lot. Now if I just had the motivation to re-do my page using some of what I learned...arg...oh well I'll get to it soon enough...
