I just thought it would be fun to explore how much Dean did for Sam and yeah i can see how the end was very bittersweet in the fact that Sam knew that it would hurt Dean when he left but the fact Dean gave him a ride to the bus depot, that's kinda what the stories about, Dean giving Sam what he wants no matter how small, it always means a lot :).
