The Aftermath...
Wow! I have no idea where to begin... nor do I have the energy to get it all out right now. I do know that I had one of the most amazing, beautiful, inspiring, laughter filled, and eye opening vacations of my life thus far! England and Scotland were breath taking. I am sure that I will be writing pieces at a time because there was just so much that happened in 8-9 days.
I will leave it with a few of my favorite quotes from the trip:
"I woke up in the bathroom, looked at the tile floors and thought that I was in a Roman bath house and everyone abandoned me."
"I was tired when I fell asleep, but drunk when I woke up"
~ that one was me... lol
"If I hit my head one more fucking time on this trip!"
"If that noise doesn't stop... I am going to blow my brains out on this plane."
"No... you give me that 20 pounds and I will give you 4 pounds back."
~ Mind you that there was only a 6 pound cover to get in
"Look... there is a patch of grass... lets put some sheep there."
"I can't believe how Americanized it is here. They have BP, Domino's, Papa Johns, Texaco..."
~ This one unfortunately also came out of my mouth. I would like to think that this was one of my sleep deprived dumb ass comments considering I knew that BP stood for British Petroleum. Jeeezzz... ha!
"When I think in my head, it is with a British accent!"
I believe that I consumed more alcohol in 8-9 days than I did in the year 2004! My liver hurts... bad : (
But it is still lovely: )
