1. Angst
Ever since he had gotten the call from Pete, crying and rambling on about how he was poison, ruined everything he touched, and the paramedics had gotten there and told Patrick what hospital they were taking him to and then hung up, Patrick hadn't slept.
For two days, in between catching the plane back to Chicago and waiting at the hospital for Pete to wake up, Patrick had waited.
And he wasn't going any where until he spoke to Pete.

2. AU
He knew it happened, of course, people met and bam! instant soulbond. It only happened if people were insanely compatible -most soulbonds took time to form, and even then it didn't always happen.
Patrick never expected to be one of those people who met someone for the first time and felt that instant connection.
He'd learn, later on, that Pete very rarely ever did anything the normal way.

3. Crack!fic Plot
Ok, Patrick could admit that Pete was kind of...different than other people- it was one of his favorite things about him.
But turning into a hedgehog seemed a bit much, even for him.

4. Crossover
His whole life, people told Patrick he was too small to play hockey; teachers, family, friends coaches. They never got that he was good; fast, able to get the puck and then be half way across the ice before anyone ever knew he had even taken it.
Patrick was used to having to prove himself, on and off the ice.
Pete was the only person to look at Patrick and believe. He saw a hockey player when he looked at Patrick.
For that alone, Patrick would have loved him.

5. First Time
Patrick would never admit it to anyone -even though he suspected Pete knew already- but the first time he had ever kissed anyone was when Pete pushed him up against the wall backstage of some club, high off the buzz of a good performance.
He had so many firsts with Pete already that he didn't think it would matter.

6. Fluff
Patrick could admit, at least to himself, that he was a sap. He loved being able to fall asleep next to Pete and wake up wrapped around each other.

7. Humor
Maybe pranking Pete had been a bad idea, Patrick reflected as he emptied his suitcase out on the hotel bed in search of a shirt and nothing but pink and purple vibrators fell out.

8. Hurt/Comfort
"Hurts, 'Trick," Pete sniffled and showed his best friend the bruise on his knee.
Patrick's eyes widened and then he kissed the bruise quickly. "Mommy always does that for me. Did it help?"
"Yeah, thanks," Pete mumbled and put his head on Patrick's shoulder. "Helped a lot."

9. Smut
When Patrick finally was able to get him, he barely made it in the front door before his hand was down his pants and wrapped around his dick.
He didn't even pretend he wasn't thinking about Pete and how much he wanted to be the person who put all those bruises on his neck.

10. UST
If Patrick had to watch Pete walk around in his underwear for much longer, his dick was going to start chafing.
