I'm laying here, listening to Save Rock And Roll, and it occurred to me that I could go on and on (and on ) about how much I love this album, musically, lyrically and vocally, but, instead, I'm just going to post a couple of my favorite parts of each song.

They really don't. It amazes me almost as much as it pisses me off. I just don't understand how anyone could not love them, especially once they listen to them. I mean, really listen to their songs.

Also, looking over some of these lyrics, if you didn't know about the divorce, you'd never guess that was what Pete was talking about, yo u. know? Tbh, I'm fairly amazed that he managed to be so subtle. The only really obvious one to me is "you were my picket fence".

I know. No matter what, they've always put the music first. I mean, the last time the band -well, Pete, let's be fair- threatened to get bigger than the music, they went on hiatus for almost four years. This is a band that puts the music and their fans before everything else.

Exactly! They could've made tons of money off of a "reunion" tour and not bothered to make new music. Instead, they took this huge chance releasing something not everyone is going to like.
