5. The first time Dean had ever had to face the responsibility of being a big brother, it was November; it was only a few days after his mother died and Dean felt lost and alone. Sammy was crying and when Dean went to ask John to make him stop, he saw him hunched over in the chair next to the motel bed. Dean just shook his head when he didn't answer any of Dean's questions and went and picked up Sammy the way he had been taught and tried to remember the way he had seen his parents make a bottle and change diapers ( ... )
