Sometimes, I just want to scream at them.
Went to the Dr. today for my 2 week check up. Last night I was in horrible pain. Like before the surgery. I figured it was either
A. Because I cleaned the house
or
B. Robert and I had sex.
Either way I hurt. I explained the pain to the Dr. and I kept referring to it as 'the normal pain'. He asked me what that was and I told him while I was in the hospital they told me the pains I was feeling were 'Normal'. Apparently NOT. He told me the only pain I ever should have felt was the 'normal' incision pain. Not a nerve pain that progressively gets worse as the days go by. He said it is one of 3 things.
1.After surgery more of the cartiledge came out and is pressing on the nerve again (which is a normal 'side effect' to the procedure) they say it happens on occasion
2.I have arthritis in my spine which needs to be treated now.
3.While doing any of the millions of things I do every day I threw out my back again on my own.
I say its 1 or 2 cuz damnit I've been good and have listened all the way up until yesterday!!!!!!!
So, I am home for another month! He wants me to take it easy. No house work, yardwork, exercising (except for 30 min walk once a day), picking up anything over 5 pounds, no work, no extensive shopping (longer than 30 min to an hour). The paper says a lot. But whatever I wasn't really doing any of those anyways. But atleast I can drive (as long as I'm not hopped up on pills). But nothing mentioned about sex. Hmmmm...guess I should have asked about that one. oh well. I'll call. :)
So please for the love of all that is holy, someone come rescue me from what is now become my prison. (ok so not really) I'm bored outta my mind here!!!!!
