In which Jennifer sings the praises of her husband's wonderfulness in 6-part harmony

So it's been a bit crazy the past couple weeks, despite my class being over. Last night we had choir rehearsal at 6, and I needed to go pick up Mom by myself since Aaron had a basketball game and would have to drive myself. I got home at about 4:45 and cooked dinner, which we didn't sit down to eat until 5:30. I did something I never do. I left the dishes and everything out, stating that I would clean up when I got home. I despise leaving the kitchen a mess after a meal. It bugs me. I can't relax if I know the kitchen is a wreck. But time is time and I didn't have any at that point to clean up.

So after choir rehearsal, Aaron went to basketball and I brought Mom home. What did I find when I walked in the door at my own house?

My wonderful husband had cleaned up the dishes, wiped off the counter, AND started the dishwasher before he left to go to choir rehearsal. All I had to do was wash the skillet and knives that I don't put in the dishwasher to keep them nice.

That's not the end of his awesomeness. I made a honey-do list for him to take care of between Monday and Wednesday, since we're having Christmas Day at our house and there is a lot of cleaning and setting up of tables and stuff that needed to be done.

I got home from work to day to find that the ENTIRE list had been completed.

And that, this week so far, is why my husband is wonderful.
