(no subject)
feeling kinda crappyish...
i didnt make the volleyball team because i have music
lessons once a week and they conflicted with practice
kinda sucks doesnt it?
i was offered to be team manager but i declined, it
wouldnt be the same... yet somehow my name ended up
on the list as team manager... cest la vie
school starts a week from tomorrow and i still have
to read two books... so much for getting the work done
early in the summer...
speaking of summer... WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO?
no seriously...
carly and mom got their hair done yesterday and i met
them there and mrs. tucker and amanda came in and they
were babysitting their neighbor's kids, a girl, a boy,
and a 2 month old baby boy... the baby(ryan) started
crying so i asked mrs tucker if she wanted any help and
i ended up holding ryan for about an hour and a half
while he slept on my chest... it was so amazing, i love
little kids and aparently ryan never naps... he was so
cute! i dunno holding a baby is a great feeling... its
like there is this little person who is dependent on you
because they are too small to do anything... it felt great
music lessons last night... mark said that now cause im
not doing volleyball he's really gonna nitpick on my
audition piece... i knew the nitpicking was gonna come
sooner or later... plus, i should be like that anyway...
this is what is gonna make or break me for college, its
important that i constantly work on it and improve it...
wow... there i go getting all responsible... odd...
plus, i miss meghan... she's been in ohio since sunday and
i miss not having her here to watch a movie with every night
or just to hang with...
ooh!! i forgot to write about maine... okay, here it goes...
maine was fun... i got to see all my little cousins again,
some of them arent so little anymore! emily is going into the
seventh grade... that means she is like... whoa... 12 or 13...
kristeni think is going into fifth grade (i think) and becky is
gonna be in second grade??? cate is gonna be in either pre-k or
kindergarten and thatch is only 2 years this october... he was
absolutely adorable tho... at one point we were moving wood to
the fire and he wanted to help so i gave him a few pieces of bark
and he kept coming back for more bark and eventually he started
carrying small logs to uncle robert and it got to a point where
uncle robert told him "thats enough for today, we will do more
tomorrow" and thatch started crying... it was so adorable...
i didnt get to see dean or peggy tho... they were both in school
so that kinda sucked a bit... emma, olivia, aunt pat and uncle
doug were in ireland so we didnt get to see them either... the
place seemed kind of empty... but i ate my first whole lobster!
usually i will just eat the claws and the legs cause my lobster's
either shit themselves as a last "ha-ha" to those who eat them or
their reproductive organs are in the tail(ew much?) but this time
the tail was absolutely shit and organ free... it wasnt bad... a
bit chewy but i didnt hate it... we also do this candle ceremony
thing where each family gets a floating candle and they get to
release it on the lake... this year carly and i dedicated our
candle to nolan and maryanne... it was kind of hard to believe that
this was probably my last year in maine cause next year i will be
in college when we are all supposed to go up again... *sigh*...
oh, god... college... applications... auditions... i dont even
want to think about it right now...
i miss shannon too.... she went back to college two weeks ago on
saturday... the house feels empty without her... and i know she
is just a call away but its not the same... blegh...
ne ways i think im gonna go for now...
