" ~ The police are evil. There are 25 mph speed limit signs all over the place, and they'll bust you in a second for disobeying them. I felt like a little part of me died every time I drove on the roads in question. And really, I think 30 mph is the slowest that the 'Blashmobile is capable of traveling in most circumstances. Thank the heavens for my car's cloaking device."
Thats how the police are out here, good thing you won't be driving. =P Seriously, they will get behind you, and follow as much as possible to make sure you go the speed limit. Not like in AZ where they'll just pass you, becayse they would rather break the laws themselves than bother catching someone else doing it. The other day this happened to me, and I took about 4 turns and he followed me through each one!
And despite the fact ( I don't really get why though) that the cops are like that, people still like to drive 10+ miles over the speed limit. I see people pulled over all the time.
Oh... they'll stalk you in Phoenix too, it just requires a little provocation. I had to take a bumper sticker off my car. It read "In order to ensure the quality of your patriotism your conversation may be monitored." Cop sat in the parking lot waiting in his car till I got off work then followed/stalked me for 10 miles about 3 feet behind my bumper, before he realized I wasn't going to so much as change lanes and pulled someone else over for going 3 over the speed limit :-P
Well, I did most of my driving around Mesa, most of the cops that we're trying to give out tickets were on the highway. I never really saw anyone pulled over off the highway. Whenever there was a cop in traffic, they would alway just pass people.
