Update time! I plan on making them more regular. And if it is Sunday and I haven't slapped one up here for the week, poke me! Please, I am lazy. Too lazy...I think I'll cut the journal there actually.
Like hell, too much on the tip of my tongue this week. I went on holiday with a friend I have known for 13 years now to a caravan park in Rose Green near Bognor Regis. For the geographically challenged, that is on the South Coast of England just East of the Isle of Wight. And a bit further over, see it? Of course you can't, there isn't a map (except my cluster map, hint hint!). The town consisted of two takeaways, two newsagents and a co-op battling it out with each other, 2 hairdressers, 2 banks and all crammed into a tiny space no bigger then a small village. Not much, but we took my friend's 360 down for the evenings in the caravan. Usually accompanied by heavy metal, a loud speaker system and lots of beer and curry or chinese food. In fact we received a complaint about noise on the first night, not good given his parents own a caravan on site but I did guess right before we had even unpacked that afternoon! It was very good fun, although the amount of crap and alcohol I must have consumed has probably done something bad! Oh well, was still fun.
There is one night we struggle to remember though. That night we walked into Bognor Regis, stopped at the Ship Inn and had a pint. Then we felt like another. Then another. Then more pints and some potato wedges that I swear we ate but my friend thinks otherwise as he can't remember eating them. We then staggered into Bognor, I made the mistake of laying down on a bench to recover a bit just to get more woozy and unable to do anything for about 5 mins. What was after? More pubs, a night club that resulted in my beer being knocked and going down some rather annoyed woman's back and us leaving early as the club was boring and staggering home on a 20min walk back to the caravan. At least I held my drink though and didn't throw up in the road, muahaha!
Anyway, that concludes the Bognor Regis special edition this week. Keep your eyes peeled for the coming secure entry in about 10 minutes.
