Okay, so at Java Hutt today we got back onto the discussion of the Katie Koestner thing. Another guy (a stranger) got involved. Gabe and I explained the situation and discussed for a while. I think the issue in what you said was this: "But forgive me for thinking that such an event isn't half as traumatizing or emotionally scarring as the first one. She didn't deserve it, but that isn't to say she didn't somewhere in the back of her mind expect it. Why would she have gone with John into a private room somewhere if she didn't expect for something to happen?"

The event may be just as traumatizing to both women regardless of the man's intentions...

I'd like to respectfully ask you to stop putting words in my mouth. I never said, nor implied, such a thing. Only that she has to take responsibility for her own actions. That isn't saying, nor does it mean, that the consequences of failing to do so should be rape. It's just saying that such a thing is something that can, unfortunately, be a result. I'm just saying she made a mistake too.

This is the last I'll be saying on this matter because quite frankly I am tired of discussing it, and I'm insulted by the mean spirited responses I have recieved.
