I didnt say you were the problem with the world. The fact that this particular opinion of yours is tolerated is the problem. So I'm not contributing to it.

True, she made a mistake in that respect. I get that. The consequences of that mistake should not include being raped. her mistake did not lead to that, the rapist's did.

I'm all about personal responsibility. You make your choices and you live with them, I'm cool with that. But when you are incapable of making choices, you should not have to take responsibility for actions you didnt make.

Her decision was to get drunk. she can be held accountable for that, sure. But putting any of the responsibility connected with the rape onto her is unfair. If she was conscious and simply too weak to fight him off, would the blame be on her then? No, because she was physically incapable of doing more to defend herself. Such is the case here. The reasons for her incapability are not in question when it comes to the rape itself.

You're only closed minded if you can't change your mind. I change my mind when I can find a better argument than mine. Yours has yet to change my mind because I agree with the personal responsibility bit, and disagree with the fact that it has any bearing on the responsibility for the rape. So you can argue your personal responsibility crap for as long as you want, you wont convince me that it applies.
