Oh, man, just got into Adele. Lovely British sense of humour. Heard her on the radio before, but now I know. Just wrote while listening to her being brilliant on youtube. Didn't make writing any easier, but helped the initial push to write, which has been increasing in frequency lately! Is it the stress? Putting out more this year than in the past three years... Trying to move away from prose a little and work on condensing my ideas. I don't know how fic writers write. After twenty minutes or so, I'm quite drained, physically. My shoulders are tense, my heart rate's up a bit, and I'm so thirsty from breathing. I've been spending all my creativity on writing lately. A ton of things and no time or energy to do it. Oh, rl, I worry about you sometimes.
Rain
invulnerable
in glass and metal
impressionist
vision changing
with each smattering
of forceful water
Concerto for Piano and Violin
rolling my hand
fingertips as the fulcrum
there is no way to press deeper
I breathe into the movement,
rocking forward then back,
for the next chord
she bows her head
forceful as the vibrato
loose as the wrist
abrupt as the sudden upstroke
then fingers flutter,
alternate and smooth out,
a quiet bird's trill.
He presses to sustain the theme.
