Look who has a job! Me! It's me!
Yesterday, one of my professors emailed me, asking if I'd be interested in a position with the art history division of the applied design and visual arts department. Of course, not having a job, I emailed him back to get more information. He soon called me up, gave me the details, and signed me on!
I'll be working as an Instructional Assistant for one of my previous professors, scanning slides and making digital files of prints for her class presentations. It's only 10 hours a week, so it shouldn't interfere with my coursework, and it'll cover gas money! At least I won't be sucking my bank account totally dry now, and hey - I'll be networking with important people in my field, with whom I'm already friendly, and it just might turn into a better, longer-lasting job in the future. Wouldn't be the first time that would have happened.
So yes, very excited! Weeee!
