Not exactly sure why I'm posting, as nothing too extraordinary has happened lately. I went job-hunting earlier this week and came home very discouraged and depressed. It seems not even crappy retail mall jobs want me with my wacky school schedule, but school is way more important at this point, so I wasn't going to drop any classes for a crappy retail mall job.

That being said, I talked to my wonderful husband, cried, talked some more, and finally came to the decision that I should do whatever is necessary to complete my degree by Spring 2008. After reviewing my classes, I was thinking it would take me until Summer or Fall 2008 to get it done, but he has so generously offered to help me pay for three classes this summer and get my car paid off (only $1300 left!). If I happen across an on-campus job, even though they pay poorly, I would more than gladly take it, but I'm not going out searching anymore. So if I take three classes this summer, five in the fall, and four in the spring, I'm set. And since all of my "hard" classes are over, it shouldn't be too terrible. The next year will be full of electives! That's all I have left; an entire year of art classes! Maybe this will help get me out of my creative slump. Plus, I'm going to try and do some freelance graphics and photo retouching on the side. So if anyone is in need of such services, please ask! And send friends! I won't charge much, and it will be a great experience/resume builder for me.

My wonderful husband is out fixing his car right now. His car has been overheating lately, and the coolant obviously had a leak, so his friend offered to look at it, and now they're working on putting in a new water pump, so I came home to work on projects. Who knows how long that will take them. Eesh!

That about sums it up...yep.
