Ugh. Did some searching for archaeological field work this summer. It was pretty much what I expected, the digs I want to work and am qualified to do pay about $7.50/hr which breaks down to about $1400 net for 8 weeks of work after room and board and beer.
The CRM firms however, seem to be starting off at $14.50/hr. I really REALLY don't want to work for a CRM firm, and it's phase 1 work, which I haven't done before, but the money is sooooo tempting.
Oh and on the list of Bad Ideas:
If you are a acedemic group seeking interns, do not say you have a "weekly per deim." It tends to make people nervous.
