The gray figure flickers, as if there's a lingering sense Break should be trusted with how things really look. The figure ripples again between the knight and Allen himself as a knight. Yet he drifts through the battlefield towards the man and stands before him. "Yes?"
Allen stares at the hand offered to him and shuts his eyes. Silently he reaches out and takes Break's hand. Part of him yearns to be far from the battlefield. It is that part that leaves the knight. Everything shifts=

The snow falling all around you is normal again, a crisp white that covers the land. You're on the outskirts of a circus. It isn't much but your eye is drawn to the boy sitting bitterly in a cage. His features are familiar but the hair is longer and pulled back. His eyes are guarded, the emotions to be in them in later years not yet born. He draws his knees up to his chest and for a second there's a flick of the boy he will become.
Red Arm, not yet named Allen looks directly at you with a scowl on his face. "What do you want?" He growls but doesn't uncurl.
The boy wrinkles his nose in confusion. What the hell was this geezer talking about. "What the hell are you talking about?" He didn't get why the man was being so friendly either. "Aren't you bothered by me? Everyone is."
The boy starts with alarm but the statement earns Break a shift from this place to another.

The city you're now standing in is broken and ruined. Rubble and twisted metal dot the landscape as you stride deeper into the heart of this destroyed place. There's a fork in the road, which way will you go? Right or left?
But Allen isn't there. He hasn't been present since the scenery shifted. The empty ruined buildings don't answer you. Twisted street signs remain the same as before. Which will it be? Right or left? Pick a pathway, there's only so much time before the show comes to an end.
Merry waving, from behind one of the fallen pieces near the edge of the board.
"Come over here! Shh."

He promises, settling down with him and setting an arm about Allen's shoulders.
"And the beauty of wanting nothing is that you don't miss things by running too fast."

He says, quietly.
"Both of us have evil in us. It isn't that unusual."
