I'm in Cianwood. I've been tackling the wild Pokémon between here and the Safari Zone for the past couple of weeks.

Well, I think the level of your Pokémon matter more than the length of time you've had them for this.

Does Margarita have re-ally strong Pokemon then? What level are they? They're probably more than Maria's!

Well, stronger than some, anyway. They're in the mid to upper thirties, level-wise.

Hmm? No, I haven't tried going against any of the Gym Leaders yet.

...I think they might be strong enough to take on the Violet City Gym, at least.

Just tackle them in groups. I always make my team attack the whole area, gunning down the wild Pokémon as quick as they can.

It's time consuming, but it makes up for low levels.
