There was recently a meeting among the medical staff in which several issues were brought up for discussion.  I decided to bring up the fact that I no longer have my license due to a conflict between myself and the senior medical staff at the hospital where I was working

So how can you tell if someone values their lives? Do you give them a questionnaire or something?

I talk to them. And I pay attention.

No, I just didn't know you could figure out whether someone values their life or not just by talking to them and paying attention.

Part of it has to do with the situation. Most times, I'm the option of last resort. These people are often at the end of their rope and desperate.

Things like that can make a person surprisingly honest. You just have to know what to listen for.
