SPN Returns Tonight!! (My Ep. 10 Thoughts)

Not much of a trip down memory lane as SPACE and COSMO have gone back to airing season 1 of SPN and VD (respectively). I get why COSMO went back to S1 after airing 3x22 BUT why must SPACE go from airing 4x22 to 1x01? I mean I was just waiting to watch S5-7 again through these weeknight reruns.

**MAJOR SPOILER ALERT*
"Supernatural" - ep. 8x10 ("Torn and Frayed") *winter premiere*

• THEN:
•           "Road So Far" moment...that's a first right? For the winter premiere to have a musical start like the premieres/finales?
• NOW:
• Unknown Location -- Abandoned Factory
•           Bloody teen angel ('Alphie') but Crowley still has him
•           Alphie has been stuck with Crowley for weeks
•                     Yikes
• TITLE CARD
• Kermit, Texas -- Motel
•           Sam is drinking beer when there is a knock on his hotel door
•                     It looks like the same hotel from the flashbacks too
•           Sam is not pleased to see Dean  
•           Dean defends Benny to Sam (who's not hearing it)
•           Sam is pissed by Dean's pseudo-text to him
•                     Sam loves Amelia
•           Sam admits that he can't trust Benny
•           Dean doesn't know if he's done with Benny
•                     Dean can't dump Benny...not after everything they've been through
•           Dean leaves
• Park
•           Lady can't stop a baby from crying
•           Castiel shows up and fixes the problem
•                     AWW! Castiel is spreading his goodness around
• Heaven
•           Naomi informs Castiel that Crowley has 'Alphie'
•           Naomi tells Castiel to use whatever he needs as long as he says that it was his idea
• Rufus' Cabin
•           Dean is freaked when Castiel just shows up -- he spilled his beer
•           Castiel tells Dean about Alphie's capture
•           Castiel needs Dean's help due to his lack in people-skills
•           LOL!! Dean left the laptop on a porn site and he freaks that Castiel might of seen it
•           Castiel asks about Sam's absence
• Texas - Motel
•           Sam watches boring TV
•           Amelia shows up
•           Sam is willing to leave again so that nothing complicates Amelia's life
•           Sam/Amelia kiss
• Abandoned Factory
•           Alphie gets more silver pins into his head
•                     Ouch!
•           Alphie's spouting off something now -- what exactly did he do besides make a bush (and man) catch on fire?
• COMMERCIAL
• Nebraska
•           Dean and Castiel visit the burn victim in the hospital
•           Victim states that the bush talked to him
•           "That's his serious face, yes." -Castiel
•           Castiel is very concerned for Alphie after the message the victim passed onto him ('Obey')
•                     Alphie must be in great pain to transmit such a command through a shrub
• Motel
•           Sam/Amelia have reunited in more ways than one *smirk*
•           Amelia gives Sam an ultimatum; leave and be with her OR leave and never come back
•                     Amelia has no idea that Dean has returned in Dean's life (like Don did for her)
•           They set a deadline for when the decision will be made -- 2 days from that moment @7pm
• Nebraska
•           Have I mentioned that I love that the Impala has returned this season
•           Castiel can see the demon's true faces outside their numerous abandoned factory searches
•           Dean doesn't want Sam's help...he has another idea
• WEBCLIP -- Dean & Castiel go see Kevin
  
•           Kevin says that Garth is on a supply run
•           "You look horrible." -Castiel to Kevin
•           Kevin is having a hard time deciphering half a demon tablet
•           Dean wants the demon-bomb recipe
•                     Kevin is livid that he doesn't have the ingredients anymore
•                     Kevin rushes too write the list when Castiel says he'll get the ingredients
• Abandoned Factory
•           Crowley sees the guy that's torturing Alphie
  
•           Alphie spouts out Enochian (angel-speak)
•           Crowley concludes that they have the vessel's 'angel manual'
• Garth's Safehouse
•           Dean paces so much that Kevin listens to music to block him out
•           Dean is impatient yet he has his fun with Kevin
•           Dean gets a call from Benny
•                     It sounds like call an alcoholic would make to their sponsor when they feel like they are on the edge
•           Dean asks Kevin where Mrs. Tran was
•                     He's stunned to learn that Kevin 'kicked his mom to the curb'
• Park
•           Sam does some people-watching
•           Castiel shows up
• Garth's Safehouse
•           Dean looks around
•           Castiel returns with Sam 
•           "I need you two to stow your crap." -Castiel to Winchesters (or something like that)
•                     Was it just me or was there somewhat of a prideful glint in Dean's eyes (for Castiel) as he stared Sam down?
• COMMERCIAL
• Night -- Abandoned Factory
•           Castiel gives the Winchesters the breakdown on where to find the wards (4 points) that are keeping him out -- they need to be destroyed before he can enter
  
•                     Castiel drew them onto Sam's hand with marker
•           Castiel hands Sam the angel blade (it works on demons too)
•           Sam and Dean work together to get rid of the wards for Castiel
•           Sam spray-paints over the first ward they find
•           Sam and Dean split up to cover more ground
• Another Room
•           Crowley screws the silver nails into Alphie some more -- tablet talk
• Halls
•           Dean hears Alphie's screams as he destroys another ward
  
•           Sam gets attacked while destroying his next ward
•                     Sam kills one demon before Dean kills the second
• Another Room
•           Crowley cracks into some demon tablet talk
• Halls
•           Demons come running -- Sam and Dean set off the demon bomb/sticks
• Another Room
•           Crowley doesn't want to leave
• Halls
•           Dean destroys the last ward
  
•           Castiel appears yet he's weak (and he's being affected by Alphie's pain)
•                     Castiel cowers while flashes of Naomi torturing him in a chair enter his mind
•           Dean can't get the door open
•                     Sam and Dean both pound into it with little success
• Another Room
•           Crowley is close to getting what he needs from Alphie
•           Crowley learns that there is an angel tablet
•                     Oh no!!
• COMMERCIAL
• Abandoned Factory
•           Sam and Dean get through the door
•                     Crowley isn't there
•           Dean deals with the 'Doc'
•           Sam deals with the demon that enters
•           Castiel breaks Alphie free
•           Dean kills the demon after Sam
•           Castiel gets Alphie out
•           Doc tries to negotiate with Dean -- doesn't work
• Streets
•           Alphie tells Castiel that he can't return to Heaven
•           Alphie says he told Crowley things he didn't even know about
•           Alphie scoffed at Castiel's denial of knowing Naomi
• Heaven
•           Naomi orders Castiel to kill Alphie (with the defense that he's a traitor)
• Streets
•           Castiel kills Alphie
•                     Oh no!!
• Heaven
•           Castiel can't believe he just killed Alphie
•           Castiel learns that Crowley knows about the angel tablet
  
• Streets
•           Castiel tells the lie that Naomi told him to tell the Winchesters
•           Castiel sheds blood tears -- Winchesters notice
•                     I wonder if the blood tear means something more
•           Dean and Sam are worried when Castiel takes off
• COMMERCIAL
• Rufus' Cabin
•           Sam and Dean repaint some new angel wards so they can freely talk about the angels
•           Dean tells Sam that he can handle this angel stuff while he heads back to Amelia
•                     Sam looks like he forgot about Amelia
•           Sam talks to Dean about his confusion with Amelia
•           Dean tells Sam to make a decision whatever it is (two feet in or two feet out)
•           Sam walks to clear his head
• Dock
•           Benny finishes off a blood bag -- he's got one left
•                     How is Benny out in the sun? Doesn't it hurt him?
•           Benny gets a call from Dean
•           Dean tells Benny that 'it's the end of the line' for them
•                     Oh no!! Dean and Benny both seem torn by it *sigh*
• Rufus' Cabin
•           Dean watches television
• Texas - Motel
•           Amelia arrives to an empty motel room
•                     Even though I knew that Sam wouldn't leave Dean, it was still sad to get confirmation for it
•                     It seems like both counterparts (Benny and Amelia) have been let go tonight
• Rufus' Cabin
•           Sam joins Dean for some dinner and beers in front of the television
• Promo for 8x11: Charlie (Felicia Day) returns!! Sam and Dean dress up for a Renaissance fair for LARPers!! The Winchesters will literally be our knights in shiny armor this episode!!

We're in for a fantastic Supernatural-January!! Not only did we get Castiel and Kevin back with tonight's episode but next week we see Charlie (Felicia Day) again!! And get this, the week after that...we meet Grandpa Winchester (John's father)! I don't know how that's gonna happen but that's what the press release I found has. I can't wait either way :D

So I'm back with my new episode thoughts while school is kicking my butt already with the course load. I mean, seriously, I've only been back for 8 days and already I have so much piling up. *sigh*

Anyways, heads up to my FFN readers that I'm updating "More Than A Petrova" after the new VD episode airs tommorrow!

I better get back to my course work. -_-
