SPN returns for Season 8's Ep. 2 (My Thoughts)

"Supernatural" - ep. 8x02 ("What's Up, Tiger Mommy?")

• THEN:
•           Benny.....if I hadn't checked the wiki site, I never would have known that the actor that played Benny (Ty) had guest starred as a vampire before in season 2
• NOW:
• Don't safety deposit boxes need two keys to open it?
• Poor Perky Bank-teller...she didn't stand a chance against the old man
• KEVIN!!! and he's having an argument with Dean
• HAHA!!! Dean's defeated reaction is amusing
• Whoa...Dean's more observant than ever...I love it!!
• Kevin's mom looks so different from last season (unless I'm just imagining it)
• Aww....Tran reunion!!
• Is that the first time that we witnessed a reverse exorcism like Dean?
• Mrs. Tran is feisty; she impressed Dean while shocking Kevin (I love it!!)
• Mrs. Tran is so awesome!!!! She's sitting calm while getting her tattoo while Kevin is squealing.
•           Ellen came to mind when Mrs. Tran started showing some badass attitude
• Dean is pissed...it seems like the tablet is gone
• COMMERCIAL
• Whoa...Dean's flashbacks seem to parallel his reality (Dean is definitely reminding me of a war veteran who has returned home)
• Whoa....Mrs. Tran is good when she steps in (and the way that Kevin and Sam supplied the numbers for her was awesome)
• Bo -- the right hand man of  Plutous/God of Greed
• The Prophet gets an invitation to an auction...not something I would have thought
• LMAO!!! Dean goes berserk at the idea of having the Impala as an auction item
• Dean through a metal detector...oh lol!
•           Oh damn! Dean's got a whole box for his weapons alone
• Crowley dishes out Plan A
• COMMERCIAL
• DAMN!!! Mrs. Tran landed a right hook on Crowley
• Let the auction begin
• Dean meets another angel friend of Castiel (who's meatsuit is a teenager working at a hot dog hut)
• FLASHBACK
•           CASTIEL!!! (I really should have paid attention to the opening credits)
•           Castiel and Dean reunite by the river
•           Benny wants answers as to why Castiel left Dean once they arrived to Purgatory
•           Castiel has been keeping Leviathans off of Dean's trail (its why he ran away from Dean)
•           "Cass, buddy, I need you." -Dean to Castiel
•           "I'm not leaving here with you." -Dean to Castiel (now I wonder what happened for Dean to go back on those words)
• TEAM HUNTER is pooling their money together (yet the auction doesn't accept human currency)
• Time for Plan C....Dean goes to the 'bathroom' (lol)...failed plan
• Old man from the bank is at the auction
• Castiel's angel friend vs Crowley for the tablet....they have some wacky wagers
• Whoa....Kevin's placed on the bidding table
•           Mrs. Tran bids her soul for Kevin and the tablet.....at least she won that round but what's going to happen to her now?
• COMMERCIAL
• Poor Mrs. Tran....will she be like Soulless!Sam?
• Aww...Mrs. Tran would rather have Kevin with the Winchesters than with the angels
• Oh I did not see that coming....Crowley possess Mrs. Tran
• Bo uses a gun on Sam...but nothing beats Sam using Thor's hammer on him (and the old man who had parts of a virgin)
• Whoa....Crowley's demon smoke is red
• Oh damn....Crowley knows what is really on the tablet now (will he destroy it now?)
• COMMERCIAL
• Mrs. Tran seems catatonic
• Kevin is pissed at the brothers (since they were about ready to kill her when Crowley was inside her)
• Dean wishes he ganked Crowley while he was still in Mrs. Tran (he doesn't care for the one extra nightmare)
• Winchesters find the Trans gone
•           I really wish the trademark of new people leaving Dean was just a myth and not something that gets in his head.
• Dean's Flashback -- Castiel cries out for Dean but he doesn't appear
• Promo for 8x03 -- Directed by Jensen Ackles -- Sam talks about his year 'away' and how it was the first time he had a normal life (with Amelia and the dog) but Dean seems unconvinced

Ending thoughts on:

"Arrow" Series Premiere - while it seems like everyone has grown darker in Oliver's absence, I'm glad the island has given him the instincts to fight against those. This Green Arrow is definitely different from the one that Smallville had given to us before.

"NCIS: LA" 4x03 - it's amusing to see Deeks promising all these vacation ideas to Kensi (Australia, somewhere in Europe and now Las Vegas) and how Callen & Sam were manipulating the situation to see certain reactions from the duo...I definitely can't wait for a more Densi-centric episode. It was great to see the 4 moms make their cameos.

"Chicago Fire" Series Premiere - I'll admit that I'm interested in watching because of Taylor K. (VD's Mason). Its very action-packed so far and there is a big of unwanted tension between teams but we'll see.

"Days of our Lives" (soap opera) - its simply getting ridiculous yet I can't stop watching. They wrote off my favorite character (Melanie) and now I'm stuck watching the lunacy of a majority of these characters. At least I still have Brady to look forward to...he seems level-handed than a majority of the characters. On the whole paternity scandal, I really hope Daniel smartens up before its too late.

I'll be back tomorrow with my VD thoughts for the season 4 premiere.
