Cade gets New Servants on VD! (My 8x06 Thoughts)

Alright so here is a jotted recap of the episode with my initial thoughts included throughout and after the episode. I do it this way because my memory sucks when it comes to recalling things that don't revolve around my OTP for the series.

Bonnie's Old Bedroom
- Bonnie and Enzo wake up in bed together
- Enzo talks about the last 3 months of pushing Bonnie to the back of his mind to protect her
- Bonnie gets texts from Caroline
- Enzo gets a call from Damon
- Enzo is confused
- Enzo answers the call
- Siren song is heard
- Enzo collapses
- Bonnie rushes to Enzo's side

- Stefan arrives
- Stefan compelled the Sheriff to make the case a top priority

- Caroline is leaving that to Alaric (who is on the phone with Matt about it)
- Stefan offers to load the car
- Caroline stops him
- "You're not coming." -Caroline
- Caroline tells Stefan that she doesn't want him to come with her
- Caroline and Alaric are going after the twins
- Caroline tells Stefan to stay behin and work with Matt and the police
- Stefan doesn't agree
- "Caroline, you can't be serious." -Stefan
- Stefan wants to go because Damon will be with the twins
- Caroline doesn't want Stefan to come because Damon is with the Sirens (who have her twins)
- Caroline warns Stefan that if Damon gets between her and her twins then she'll kill him
- Caroline hands her engagement ring back to Stefan
- Caroline tells Stefan that they can't be together when her twins are in danger
- "Don't say anything, just listen. Until all of this is over, there is no us." -Caroline
- Caroline can't worry about Damon for Stefan's sake (not when her twins are at risk)
- Alaric interrupts with a possible lead on Seline from Matt
Diner
- Sybil eats the bacon
- Damon stares at Seline
- Twins are sleeping by Seline's side
- Sybil brings up Seline abandoning her in the Vault
- Dalton St. John released Seline in 1883
- Seline was trying to find a way to free Sybil from the Vault and from everything else
- Damon wonders what he's missing and what the twins are needed for
- Seline brings up how special the twins are (siphoners with a psychic connection to each other)
- Sybil reveals that she and Seline weren't that much older than the twins when they met Cade
- Sybil reveals that Seline wants to use the twins as their replacements with Cade
- "It's obvious, isn't it? She wants to offer them to Cade." -Sybil

Armory
- Matt and Stefan try to find a lead on the twins
- Bonnie rushes in with Enzo
- Bonnie begs for their help
- Enzo reveals that Sybil is trying to worm her way back in
- Stefan thinks that Sybil is trying to dig into Enzo's subconscious
- Bonnie wonders if Stefan can get into Enzo's subconscious and stop Sybil
- Stefan has never gone deeper before
- Stefan enters Enzo's brain
Enzo's Mind
- Enzo is back at Augustine being tortured by Sybil
- Sybil wants to punish Enzo for disobeying
Diner
- Sybil continues to eat diner food while dealing with Enzo in her mind
Armory
- Stefan is pushed out of Enzo's head
- Stefan tells Matt to look for any diners in the area for the sirens
Diner
- Damon wonders about Seline's plan
- Seline wants to present the twins to Cade as substitutes for her and Sybil
- Seline didn't want to have the twins as immediate replacements
- Damon is intrigued
- Seline didn't think her cover would be blown 3 months into them
- Everyone in the diner gets the Amber Alert about the Twins
- Sybil chuckles
- "It looks like you have a lot of work to do." -Sybil
- Seline starts humming her siren song
Road
- Alaric rushes to the diner location
- Caroline is anxious
Diner
- Alaric and Caroline find the diner empty
- Caroline finds a stuffed bunny
- Alaric gets a call from Stefan
- Stefan doesn't think that Enzo can handle Sybil's attack
- Enzo pukes in the background
- Alaric wants everything done to find his twins
- Stefan wants to talk to Caroline
- Alaric gives Caroline the choice but she refuses to speak
- "Now isn't a good time." -Alaric
- Stefan wants Alaric to tell Caroline that he's doing everything he can
Road
- Damon wonders why the twins
- "They're perfect." -Seline
- "They're toddlers." -Damon
- Sybil wants a distraction
- Damon signals for Sybil to be quiet
- Damon wants to know of the requirements that Cade looks for
- Supernatural and impressionable
- Seline reveals that if Cade takes the deal then she and Sybil will be free from him and Hell
- Damon is stunned that there is a way out of Hell
- Seline corrects that Damon has to 'dangle the right carrots'
- Sybil notices a cop at a road block further up the road
- "It looks like your plan has hit a little road block...literally." -Sybil
- Lizzie wakes up to see if they are there yet
- Seline tells Lizzie to go back to sleep
- Lizzie does
- Seline charms the cop into believing that only her and Damon are in the car
- Cop dismisses them
- Lizzie wakes up again but she's impatient
- "I don't want to sleep anymore!" -Lizzie
- Lizzie takes a hold of Sybil's hand and sucks some magic from her
- Sybil screeches in surprise
- The cop turns around and opens the back door
- The cop sees Lizzie and Sybil with her siren arm
- Sybil attacks the cop
- Wasn't Lizzie scared by Sybil's true form?
COMMERICAL
White Cedar Motel
- Damon drives up
- Sybil brings up Damon's leadership
- Damon reveals that he wants to call Cade now before Seline gets them caught
- Damon wants ingredients for the summoning spell
- Seline refuses
- Sybil reveals that a body of water and dead bodies are needed
- Seline needs more time...like 10 years
- Damon wants to get started now
- "Get the kids outta the car seats and let's go summon the Devil." -Damon
Armory
- Bonnie tends to Enzo
- Enzo tells Stefan to go in again
- Stefan warns Bonnie about the risks
- Bonnie tells Stefan to try again but be careful
- Matt calls Alaric about a license plate match
- Alaric checks a crime scene and confirms the kill was supernatural
- Alaric wonders about Enzo
- Matt reports that Enzo is unconscious but Stefan is trying
- Alaric hangs up
- Alaric blames himself about ignoring Seline being a threat
- Caroline reassures Alaric that they will find the twins
- "Nothing else matters! We will find them!" -Caroline
Motel Pool
- Sybil relaxes poolside
- Damon enters
- Sybil warns Damon about Cade's attitude
- If Cade feels betrayed or lied to, there is no telling what he would do
- Damon brings up Cade's missionaries needing consent which doesn't match Sybil's story
- Sybil revealed that in death, Cade was able to reach her
- Sybil would do anything to not die
- Damon wants Sybil's help with his plan
- Sybil's intrigued
- Sybil gets back to her torture on Enzo
- Enzo's body reacts to the pain
- Stefan watches Sybil in Enzo's find
- Enzo offers himself if only Sybil gives the twins' location
- Sybil tortures Enzo until she's ready to kill him
- Stefan interrupts
- Sybil laughs
- "Where are the twins?!" -Stefan
- Sybil wants Stefan to meet her alone for she has a deal for him
- Enzo tells Stefan to not trust Sybil
- "Damon and I have an offer you won't be able to refuse." -Sybil

- Bonnie tends to an unconscious Enzo
- Matt returns
- Matt gave the motel address to Alaric and Caroline
- Bonnie is glad for that
- Bonnie worries over Enzo
- "I love him so much and I'm terrified of losing him." -Bonnie
- Matt believes that Enzo will fight to be back with Bonnie
- Enzo interrupts by waking up
- "He's a tough bastard." -Matt
- "I'm not sure which one of you to kiss first." -Enzo
- Bonnie pulls Enzo in for a hug
- Bonnie kisses Enzo
Motel
- Matt is on the call with Alaric
- Alaric and Caroline arrive but the place is abandoned
- Caroline demands for Matt to tell her where Stefan is
Correct Motel
- Stefan arrives at the proper motel
- Stefan gets a call from Caroline
- Caroline is furious
- Stefan apologizes but he has a way to get things right for everyone
Wrong Motel
- Alaric fears for his twins
- Alaric wants the twins away from the supernatural
- Alaric will take the twins far away from everyone...including Caroline
- Caroline is stunned
- Alaric argues that the twins are his and Jo's...not Caroline's (so she shouldn't have a say)
- Alaric gets ready to leave
Motel Pool
- Seline prepares the twins to call for Cade
- Damon wonders where Stefan is
- Sybil knows that Stefan has arrived
- Sybil has set up a test for Stefan
Motel Hallway
- Stefan enters the motel
- Stefan gets surrounded by the residents
Motel Pool
- Damon is furious with Sybil's trap for Stefan
- Sybil argues that she wants Stefan to be reminded of who he truly is
- "I want him dark, vulnerable, actual blood on his hands. That's the way Cade likes them best." -Stefan
- Damon argues that they need Stefan alive
- Sybil tells Damon to save Stefan if he's worried
Motel Hallway
- Stefan fights the humans off
- Damon interrupts
- Damon comments on Stefan having a choice; kill or walk away
- Stefan hasn't killed anyone yet
- Stefan begs Damon to not force the issue on him
- Damon advises Stefan to kill his opponent before he kills her
- "Turn around." -Damon
- Stefan gets hit in the head
Motel Pool
- Seline continues to sing for Cade
- Sybil comments on how off-key Seline is
- The Siren sisters argue
- Sybil believes that Cade isn't appearing because he's not interested
- The fire and lights go out
- The light slowly returns
- Cade (in a suit) appears on the opposite side of the pool
- "Hello Seline, tell me, what brings me here?" -Cade
COMMERICAL
Motel Hallway
- Stefan wakes up from the hit
- Human breaks a wooden piece apart
- Stefan gets staked in the stomach
- Damon tells Stefan to stop being stubborn
- Stefan wonders why Damon is doing this
- Damon reminds Stefan as to why they are here...to save the twins
- Stefan kills the human attacking him
- Damon comments on the black spot now on Stefan's soul
- "Where are the girls, I won't ask you again." -Stefan
- "I'll happily take them to you." -Damon
- Damon needs to lay things out for Stefan
Motel Pool
- Seline explains her deal to Cade
- Cade introduces himself to the twins
- "Seline says your nice." -Twin
- Cade chuckles
- Cade is intrigued
- Sybil interrupts with Damon and Stefan being the substitutes
- Two immortal vampires with a bloodthirsty past
- Seline is shocked
- Stefan interrupts with his consent
- "I'll do it just let the girls go!" -Stefan
Outside Motel
- Alaric and Caroline drive in
- Stefan walks out with the twins
- Twins rush into Alaric and Caroline's arms
- Family reunion
- Caroline looks grateful at Stefan

- Enzo wakes up to Bonnie by his side
- Bonnie wonders how Enzo fought Sybil off since Damon caved
- Enzo explains his lonely upbringing that forced him to harden his heart
- Bonnie brings up how Enzo had opened up to him
- Enzo shares a secret...he didn't think the universe would have him experience such pain without feeling true love
- Enzo thanks Bonnie
- "So basically...I'm an angel." -Bonnie
- Enzo kisses Bonnie
Armory
- Twins sleep in hospital beds
- Alaric wants the Armory doctor to check them out
- Alaric apologizes to Caroline for what he said about her not being their mom
- Caroline tells Alaric that he was right to separate her from the twins for their safety
- Caroline: "Genetically they are not mine but I gave birth to them, I raised them, I loved them.
- And when they went missing, I felt like I was dying. So don't you ever through that
- in my face again."
- Alaric: "I won't. I was out of my mind, Caroline. I don't know how to do this. I don't know how to
- protect my own children."
- Caroline: "Yes you do, because you were right about something else. Right now, whereever I go,
- darkness follows me. So you need to take them. Take them someplace safe until this is all over.
- Take them away from me."
COMMERICAL
Armory
- Stefan holds onto the engagement ring
- Caroline arrives and she apologizes
- "We're partners, we should be making decisions together." -Caroline
- Caroline takes back her ring and puts it on
- "I love you Stefan so much." -Caroline
- Caroline has a bad feeling that Stefan did something bad to get her twins back
- Caroline knows that she had asked Stefan to do anything to get the twins back
- "What did it take?" -Caroline
- "I gave Damon what he promised me...an eternity of misery." -Stefan
- "What does that mean?" -Caroline
- "It means I surrendered my immortal soul to Cade." -Stefan
- Caroline refuses to believe that
- Caroline brings up their June wedding
- Stefan reveals that his last day of freedom is tomorrow
- Stefan's one condition with Cade was 24 hours with Caroline
- Caroline wells up with tears at the thought
- Does that mean they are getting married in the next 24 hours?
Diner
- Seline and Sybil talk about their freedom
- Sybil reveals that she's free from Cade while Seline is still on the hook
- Sybil negotiated that she keeps her powers and immortality yet free from Hell
- Seline wonders what Sybil is up to
- Sybil is just getting started
Armory
- Matt packs things up
- Alaric joins
- Alaric thanks Matt for his help
- Alaric thinks Matt is the only sane one among them
- Matt doesn't blame Alaric for his reaction to losing his kids
- Matt brings up how he's tired of seeing his friends in pain
- Matt wants to fight back
Mystic Grill
- Damon pours himself a drink
- Damon wants some service
- Damon gets shot in the shoulder by Matt
- Alaric shoots Damon too
- "Thanks for showing up, I've been wanting to kill somebody all day." -Alaric
- Alaric believes that his twins will always be in danger as long as Damon is alive
- Alaric punches Damon repeatedly
- Damon tries to bring up his deal
- Matt pulls Alaric off and tells him to just end it
- Alaric stakes Damon in the heart
- "This is for Tyler." -Alaric
- Damon desiccates
- Wait, what?!
