Parties All Around on VD! (My 6x20 Thoughts)

Alright so here is a jotted recap of the episode with my initial thoughts included throughout and after the episode. I do it this way because my memory sucks when it comes to recalling things that don't revolve around my OTP for the series.

Unsure of what to do, Elena turns to Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Jo for advice, but is left conflicted when Bonnie raises some unanticipated concerns. When Enzo (Michael Malarkey) realizes Lily (guest star Annie Wersching) is on a dangerous downward spiral, he asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) to help intervene before it’s too late. Lastly, fed up with the supernatural threats that plague their town, Matt (Zach Roerig) takes his frustrations out on Tyler (Michael Trevino), while Alaric considers a life-changing piece of advice.

- Stefan believes that Lily can love him like she did before
- Lily doesn't believe so
- "Damon fed me a story." -Lily
- "And it worked." -Stefan
- Lily talks about how her sons remind her of the woman she was when she was married to Giuseppe
- "It's not that I don't love you, it's that you remind me of that pathetic woman." -Lily
- We learn a bit about who Giuseppe was too

- Stefan discreetly pulls out a vervain syringe
- Stefan tells Lily to trust him and let him in
- "You could never look me in the eye when telling me a lie." -Lily
- Lily stabs Stefan in the hand (he drops the syringe that was in the other)
- Lily vamps to a human and feeds on her in the open
- "Sorry for the mess." -Lily

- Damon didn't want to give Stefan the news even though he wants to be with Elena

- Lily stumbles inside
- Stefan walks in
- Lily doesn't want to be alone...like Stefan
- Lily breaks a stake and gets ready to use it on herself
- Stefan tries to talk Lily down
- "Stay alive for us, your sons." -Stefan
- Lily notices that Stefan is looking at her instead of away (like when he lies)
- Lily rushes to stake Stefan
- Stefan stops Lily
- Damon injects Lily with vervain from behind
- Damon wonders how Stefan is ("You okay?")
- Stefan nods that he's fine

- Alaric rushes in to see Jo
- Jo reports that Bonnie is fine thanks to Damon's blood
- Alaric asks about the baby ("How's the baby?")
- Jo tells Alaric about them having twins (she shows a sonogram to him)
- "The more the merrier." -Alaric
- Jo worries about Kai and the Gemini Coven going after the twins
- Alaric wants to runaway with Jo after the wedding
- Jo kisses Alaric
Boarding House
- Elena waits by the fire
- Damon arrives and reports about Bonnie and Jo being okay
- Elena talks about her recovered memories
- "It's like a million tiny pieces of my heart are falling back into place." -Elena
- Elena remembers Damon's refusal for the cure back on the island
- Flashback to that moment (4x13)

- Elena doesn't believe that Damon wants to be human
- Elena tells Damon that she loves him and yet she can't let him make the choice without thinking through it

- Lily wakes up

- Enzo promises Lily that he'll visit again before leaving

- Stefan tells Lily that he does understand what it is like to lose something
- Stefan believes that sometime in the future, Lily could love him again like a son

- Kai rings the bell and calls on all the Heretics (who are free)

SHE GOT HER MEMORIES BACK!!! So glad for that despite the fact that she's now human.
Oh Kai is ready to return and he knows it!
Aside from Caroline, I believe this is the first time we see 9 members of the main cast in an episode? Am I right or wrong on that?
