Alright so here is a jotted recap of the episode with my initial thoughts included throughout and after the episode. I do it this way because my memory sucks when it comes to recalling things that don't revolve around my OTP for the series.

Synopsis: THE GIRL IN BLACK - After a series of strange encounters, Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) becomes intrigued by a mysterious girl who has recently arrived to the insane asylum. At the bayou, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) struggles with coming clean to Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) about the secrets she’s keeping and is surprised when he shares his own secret involving Hayley’s parents. Meanwhile, after learning the details of a particular marriage ritual that Hayley and Jackson must complete, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) heads to the bayou to put an end to it, but not before running into Jackson’s grandmother Mary (guest star Debra Mooney). Elsewhere, Vincent (guest star Yusuf Gatewood) remains determined to uncover the secret he knows Klaus is hiding and sets his eyes on Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) for answers. Lastly, when Davina (Danielle Campbell) discovers that Josh (guest star Steven Kruger) and Marcel are in danger, she enlists the help of Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman) and Aiden (guest star Colin Woodell) to rescue them.
I'm so excited to see Rebekah and Freya back! I can't wait to see that unfold.
I hope that Finn doesn't find a way to undo the compulsion (like Davina did to Camille) that Klaus placed on Marcel in regards to Hope's existence.
Elijah and Camille weren't mentioned above. I wonder if we'll still see them with Baby Hope.

- Rebekah fights against those that approach her
- TV Girl walks in and saves Rebekah

After Rebekah had her brief reunion with Klaus, I thought that Freya would get one with either Finn (like at the very end of the episode before the credits came in) or she appeared at the door of the safe house, therefore surprising Elijah with her return as she requests to see Baby Hope. I only thought of that Elijah option because we did see him briefly outside of the safe house when he was on the phone with Klaus.
I absolutley love the sisterly scenes between Freya and Rebekah. It seems like Rebekah gave her sister a good first impression. I really did like the idea of Freya wanting to figure out for herself what kind of girl Rebekah was instead of hearing rumors about her and using those to cast judgement.
However, now that it was confirmed that Freya was Kol's "date" back in 1914 at that holiday party, did Kol know who Freya really was in regards to him or did he just know her as a witch? I'm assuming that she knew exactly who he was since she seemed to know who Rebekah was.
Kol is stuck in Kaleb's body. What does that truly mean for him? You know, just when I think I know which side he's on, Kol does something to change that. In regards to Hope though, which side would Kol be on? Protect Hope (Team Klaus) or Kill Hope (Team Finn)?
Finn knowing about Hope...I truly fear for that baby and Marcel better not help him!
Now on to Klaus. During his whole fight with Jackson, I truly thought there was something else underneath it all but I think jealousy was there somewhere. Jealous that Jackson got to learn from Ansel for those 4 months that he was back. Jealous that Jackson is a pack Alpha when Klaus is the more superior species. For a moment, I truly thought that Klaus would kill Jackson after Jackson was telling Klaus to help Hayley free their people. I thought in that moment that Jackson would pass the title of Alpha to Klaus so that when he died, Klaus could then fulfill that 'promise' by having to marry Hayley in that unification ritual which would free the wolves (in a way). All that was running through my head until Hayley intervened. Even Klaus' moment with Hayley before he snapped her neck was really touching; their close proximity, their determination to get Hope back to them...it was such an intense moment between them. And I'm a Klamille fan so to have me root for Klayley in that moment...that must say something, right?

CREDITS
After Rebekah had her brief reunion with Klaus, I thought that Freya would get one with either Finn (like at the very end of the episode before the credits came in) or she appeared at the door of the safe house, therefore surprising Elijah with her return as she requests to see Baby Hope. I only thought of that Elijah option because we did see him briefly outside of the safe house when he was on the phone with Klaus.
I absolutley love the sisterly scenes between Freya and Rebekah. It seems like Rebekah gave her sister a good first impression. I really did like the idea of Freya wanting to figure out for herself what kind of girl Rebekah was instead of hearing rumors about her and using those to cast judgement.
However, now that it was confirmed that Freya was Kol's "date" back in 1914 at that holiday party, did Kol know who Freya really was in regards to him or did he just know her as a witch? I'm assuming that she knew exactly who he was since she seemed to know who Rebekah was.
Kol is stuck in Kaleb's body. What does that truly mean for him? You know, just when I think I know which side he's on, Kol does something to change that. In regards to Hope though, which side would Kol be on? Protect Hope (Team Klaus) or Kill Hope (Team Finn)?
Finn knowing about Hope...I truly fear for that baby and Marcel better not help him!
Now on to Klaus. During his whole fight with Jackson, I truly thought there was something else underneath it all but I think jealousy was there somewhere. Jealous that Jackson got to learn from Ansel for those 4 months that he was back. Jealous that Jackson is a pack Alpha when Klaus is the more superior species. For a moment, I truly thought that Klaus would kill Jackson after Jackson was telling Klaus to help Hayley free their people. I thought in that moment that Jackson would pass the title of Alpha to Klaus so that when he died, Klaus could then fulfill that 'promise' by having to marry Hayley in that unification ritual which would free the wolves (in a way). All that was running through my head until Hayley intervened. Even Klaus' moment with Hayley before he snapped her neck was really touching; their close proximity, their determination to get Hope back to them...it was such an intense moment between them. And I'm a Klamille fan so to have me root for Klayley in that moment...that must say something, right?
