rah rah ah ah ah
i haven't posted in so long! i have some catching up to do, starting with the Cobra Starship/Boys Like Girls concert i went to a few weeks ago.
when i got inside i made sure to get a shirt first since last time i waited (Mitchel Musso concert), the line was just past the bottom step on the staircase (merch table is upstairs). and only moved one step in 5 minutes. i really really wanted the Good Girl Gone Bad tank top, but they only had XL so i got the Hot Mess shirt. and i totally did not tip the merch guy $3 because he was cute, nope not me.
Hey Monday were sort of boring and not really worth mentioning, AND DON'T YOU EVEN GET ME STARTED ON KESHA.
i was so excited to see Cobra Starship, i thought i was going to have a heart attack! the next day i was still in a bit of shock, since i've wanted to see them for a couple of years. it was SO much fun. Gabe also dedicated Hot Mess to Ke$ha, which was awesome because i was actually thinking that earlier. i did get a little freaked out because while i was recording their last song (Good Girls Go Bad), i saw a security guy looking at me. i don't get why venues have to be that way about things like that, it could be the best night of someone's life and they can't even freely take pictures/videos to look back on. i could understand big SLRs and things like that (could get in the way of other people), but not smaller point and shoots or camera phones.
anyway, Boys Like Girls were pretty good. a bunch of people left right before or at the beginning of The Great Escape (which they did last), not really sure why but at least it got me really close for a few minutes until the end. Martin also brought a girl up on stage because it was her birthday. i think he sang a little to her, he also hugged her and took a picture with her. it was cute :D
