quick update on my fate
Yeah, I already updated once today, but this deserves another one. I got my host family information in the mail today! Here's the low-down:
Japanese couple, both over sixty. Kids have left the nest. Buddhist. Neither drink or smoke. They prefer to be called Otosan and Okasan. Okasan likes gardening and Otosan enjoys reading. Okasan wants me to teach her English. No pets.
That's basically all I know. This is going to be VERY interesting.
In other news, I keep forgetting to buy chopsticks, so I get to eat dinner with pens, I guess. I already ate out today (I have no idea what it was, but it was good) so I figured a quiet evening preparing to meet my host family is in order...gearing up for tomorrow's adventure. (It's the last day before everyone heads to their homestay or dorm. In other words it's time to party.)
