Tian paced in her room and tried not to panic.
It wasn't like him to vanish with no warning.
She'd seen the morning's paper, of course -- Councillor Tarrlok and the Avatar with the captured Equalists -- but Jiao couldn't have been one of those. He wasn't with them, not enough that he'd be in a position to have been captured by that task force.
