A beat, then he played back her own objection, altering the pitch at the end to turn it into a question.

"I'll admit, it's a great costume," and where he had gotten enough white cloth to drape over himself, let alone how he'd sewn it together, was not something she wanted to know, "but, um... I think you're a bit big to help me pass out candy."

Soundwave regarded her for a moment, then emitted a series of beeps: .-- .... -.-- ..--..

Leandra sighed. "Because you're the size of a house. Also, I don't think Megatron would like you running off to help me and Carmen pass out candy."

That gave the Decepticon pause for a moment, then he nodded and strode away.

Leandra was amused to note that he left the white sheets on.
