Some of y'all may remember the
Saga Of Puck's Messy Room and
how it ended.
Guess what?
It's time for another round! :D
First, of course, I had to actually move in. So I have some of those pictures.
Standing in the doorway. Apparently Jared (my brother's former roommate) forgot his desk. Or left it intentionally, IDK.
Corner and wall on the door side.
My new bed!
As you can see, I didn't like where the desk was, so I moved it over by the closet for the time being. The bed now occupies its space.
Putting the sheets on. As you can see, I have chosen a rather familiar theme for my sheets.
Why yes, there is a reason my nickname at school is "Tink"; why do you ask?
The second layer!
The comforter! Now with multiple angles.
It's reversible! I am so spoiled.
Done! The white table has since moved, incidentally.
And now we fast forward to today's work!
The first parts of this are missing, as I didn't have my camera when work was begun upon the dresser yesterday. For the curious, the dresser was got at IKEA.
As you can see, things have got a bit worse in the month and a half since I moved in...
But all is not lost! There is light at the end of the tunnel! A half-made dresser and a new lamp so I'm not relying on that titchy pink lamp over there to light up my life room. The frame of the dresser was put together by my father and I. Mostly my father. >.>
The Desk has become my workspace. It made putting the drawers together a HELL of a lot easier.
And now, I will show you how the drawers were put together!

HURRAH!
Two views of the newest drawer in the dresser!
Four drawers!
VICTORY!
Once the dresser was complete, I put it to the use God intended.
A substantial difference, is it not?
Once that was done, I turned my attention to that which else I sorely needed: a bookcase. At Oma's, I made do by stacking all my books on the dresser I was provided with there. There were... um, a lot. Sadly, about halfway through I started having problems with the bookcase and mislaid the camera, so there's a jump in construction.
As you can see, the Desk has been moved yet again. It will probably eventually be moved to the kitchen.
The bookcase!
...in the box. >.>
Everything out of the box, including my cell phone.
Arranging everything...
And piecing things together!
The completed frame!
And the completed bookcase! I got a little frustrated with the backing. DX
Annnnnnnd.... still not enough room for all my books. I need another bookcase, clearly. DX
If anyone is interested in the
books I have with me... (Warning: large pictures!)
As you can see, I still have a ways to go....
