Well, the follow up mammogram showed that it was just the usual stuff- dense tissue, in a hard to get to place- where boob tissue wraps around the side of the rib cage. Yes, I have side boobs. It was the most painful mammogram I've ever had. She really had to tighten it up hard and one of the shots she said "now hold your breath!" I was thinking "I couldn't breathe if I wanted to it hurts so bad!" I damn near had tears in my eyes. It even tweeked my back, as well as the usual side effect of setting off my neck/shoulder problem. But I was happy to get the news on the spot!
Then went to the drug store and to the grocery store, and discovered that no one was wearing a mask. In the hospital, it's mandatory. At the drug store, all the employees were masked, but not one customer. At the grocery store, no one, not even the workers, were masked. I was the only one! And both places had a lot more people shopping in them than two weeks ago.
My appointment with the hand doctor got moved to Tuesday, so I'll do my banking etc that day. Provided, of course, that we don't have five million new cases of the corona virus by then.
