I feel funny posting this. I had a mammogram the other day- Thursday afternoon- and they have requested I come in for more images and an ultrasound. I feel funny because a friend also had one on Thursday- morning- and is now going to have to go back, too. Except I'm lucky- I'm not having pain other than the usual after-mammo-soreness. This isn't my first time with a call-back; my right boob has had more extra-x-rays, ultrasounds, and giant needles stuck in than I care to think about. Most likely it's scar tissue from one of my many cysts.
Life goes on; I still have no energy or motivation. The weather hasn't been particularly inducive to gardening, but I've been able to do some. I have lots of baby plants going, though. We're still having nights that are too cold for putting them out. I stare at the computer a lot without writing anything. I jump around and swear a lot because the goddamn flying ant infestation won't leave me alone- they seem to like my wet hair after I shower best. I don't know if they think my head is wood and are trying to nest in there or what. Since I was in town anyway on Thursday, I went in to the new hospice office and met the new volunteer co-ordinator. I spent a couple of hours explaining a couple of the computer programs to him.
Other than that, I don't think anything is new.
