Went out back and got a tree- first one we've had in a decade at least. Found one growing way too close to another and miraculously, it had decent branches on all sides. So after furious moving of stuff, it's not in a five gallon bucket of water and wired to the ceiling so the furry little contingent can't knock it over. That's as far as I got, no lights even, but I also got the dining table/sewing table/jigsaw table cleared off. I can actually use the bloody thing. Now my back is just killing me and my hips feel like someone grabbed my legs and pulled them out of the hip sockets. Gah.
Still lots to straighten- oh, I also got my art supplies mostly sorted and in a new (to us) drawer until so I don't have to dig for them if I actually want to use them. And still need to do cards, and, even more important, COOKIES. Tomorrow we go to town to see if Tim qualifies for any help with his Medicare supplements and also to see if H&W know about any dental help. Friday I go in to hospice... so there go two days out of the week that's left. I've been pushing as hard as I can, but I can only do three or four hours. *sigh* Should have started earlier but we kept working outside so late.
