Low light and a point-and-shoot camera are not my friend. I was trying to take a picture of this little green grasshopper on a white rose mottled with pink--I took about 20 pics and this is the best:




Today I trimmed the lantana and rosemary in the back. In the front is the licorice hyssop. The corn is about 6 feet tall and is starting to send up its flower stalks.





And here you can see that the chiapas sage under the ficus is recovering from its drastic post-tree-trimming pruning:
