Updates and shite
Erin and I talked at length for several hours today regarding the move and we came to a decision. I am going to be going to St Louis on Monday, September 17th, 2007. She'll stay here with the boy while I start the new job and get things ready for her to come home. Erin's a bit down about it, but it's the most logical and reasonable solution to getting things going. So, I put in my 2 weeks with Staffmark/DHL and have arranged to begin work when I move up there. Being apart from her and the boy is going to be a bit taxing on me and probably even more on them. While I am up there, I have to secure a residence and get things unpacked from our storage shed all while working my ass off trying to build a QA department from scratch. It's gonna be tough. Thinking about going up there without my wife and son kinda tugs at the heartstrings, but I have a job to do as provider for the family. I have to suck it up and deal until I can get things arranged to bring my family up there. My friends down here are going to be upset and weepy. The move is going to hurt a lot of people, but it's time. Erin and Liam and I all need to move home. Liam needs to be around his extended family and Erin needs to be around her mother and grandfather. I just wish there were an easier way to accomplish this daunting task.
