1sentence)
Fandom: Nobuta wo Produce
Pairing: Kiritani Shuji x Kusano Akira
Theme set: Alpha
Rating: PG
Notes: This is my first time doing one of these. I attempted at humor in here. There's also some slight angst and some sentences that will make you wonder what the hell I was smoking when I wrote this. x_x Slight spoilers, in case anyone hasn't seen the series.
one
Comfort // Even though Nobuta had tried, Shuji found that, after the rest of the class had begun to hate him, only Akira was able to comfort him.
two
Kiss // His first kiss was awkward, Shuji had to admit, but just knowing that it was with Akira more than made up for it.
three
Soft // Shuji tried for the millionth time to pry Akira’s arms from around his waist, but Akira just mumbled, “So soft, Shuji-kun,” before falling back asleep; Shuji sighed and gave up.
four
Pain // Shuji pretended not to see the pain in Akira’s eyes when he told him that he never wanted to see him again.
five
Potatoes // Shuji wondered what the hell was going on in Akira’s head that possessed him to buy Shuji a potato as a Christmas present.
six
Rain // Shuji sighed as Akira grabbed his arm and twirled him while the raindrops fell on their heads; he couldn’t believe Akira had talked him into this.
seven
Chocolate // Shuji had to laugh at Akira’s failed attempt at making him a birthday cake-chocolate, with ‘Happy Birthday’ spelled out, incorrectly, across the top in English.
eight
Happiness // His classmates saw fake happiness-when he pretended to be happy to cover up his lies; only Akira saw Shuji when he was truly happy.
nine
Telephone // Shuji held the phone at arm’s length while Akira rambled on about whatever he had decided to call Shuji about at 3 in the morning.
ten
Ears // Scared, Shuji fell right off the bed when Akira blew in his ear to wake him up.
eleven
Name // One of his favorite things in the world to hear was Akira’s slightly annoying voice calling out, “Shuuuuuuji-kun!”
twelve
Sensual // It took all Shuji had not to jump Akira right in the middle of the club; idiots were not supposed to dance that well.
thirteen
Death // Akira almost started crying at the sight of Shuji’s death-and then Shuji face-palmed and told him, “It’s just a video game.”
fourteen
Sex // Sometimes Shuji wondered if they would ever have sex at all, what with all of the fighting over who would get to top.
fifteen
Touch // Shuji knew how touchy-feely Akira could get; that’s how he could tell something was wrong when Akira refused to even go anywhere near him.
sixteen
Weakness // Shuji’s weakness was the willow tree-until the day it got uprooted-and when Akira found out he immediately went in search of it, finally locating it and taping a sign to it that read “Shuji’s Willow.”
seventeen
Tears // Shuji hated to cry-it was one of those things that he absolutely refused to do in front of anyone-but in front of Akira it was so easy.
eighteen
Speed // It seemed that no matter how fast Shuji ran to get away from him, Akira always ran faster, and caught up quite easily-there was just no getting away from him.
nineteen
Wind // In Shuji’s mind, Akira was as unpredictable and changing as the wind-and he wouldn’t change him for the world.
twenty
Freedom // Shuji had to worry about his image all day every day in front of the class, but around Akira, he could finally let down his mask and be free to be just himself.
twenty-one
Life // Life wanted to tear them apart, but they found a way around it; when Akira found out that Shuji was moving, he followed.
twenty-two
Jealousy // Seeing them practicing for Nobuta’s date made Akira jealous of the girl-that’s why he had suggested that Shuji practice with him instead.
twenty-three
Hands // Shuji didn’t like holding hands in public-he thought it was embarrassing-but Akira wouldn’t let go and most likely never would.
twenty-four
Taste // Akira held up his ice cream cone, asking if Shuji wanted a taste, and when Shuji nodded Akira immediately leaned forward to kiss him; Shuji knew he should’ve seen it coming.
twenty-five
Devotion // Akira seemed to have devoted his every waking moment to being with Shuji, and though Shuji protested openly in front of others, he didn’t really mind at all.
twenty-six
Forever // When Akira asked, “Shuji-kun and Akira together forever, right?” Shuji didn’t know exactly what he had meant, and so didn’t know how to respond.
twenty-seven
Blood // If Shuji had to wake up one more morning with ketchup on his neck because Akira had felt like pretending to be Dracula, he was going to have to hurt someone.
twenty-eight
Sickness // It was a difficult choice-whether Shuji preferred a healthy Akira who just wanted his attention, or a sick-in-bed Akira who actually needed his attention.
twenty-nine
Melody // After telling Akira off for singing some random song, Shuji surprised himself by humming the same melody only minutes later.
thirty
Star // Akira pointed randomly, or so Shuji thought, into the sky, saying, “See that? That’s Shuji’s star.”
thirty-one
Home // Before he knew it, Akira was spending almost as much time at his apartment as he was, and it was then he realized that it just wasn’t home without Akira.
thirty-two
Confusion // The part that confused Shuji the most wasn’t that he had fallen for a guy, but that he had fallen for a guy who was so goddamned annoying.
thirty-three
Fear // Shuji’s greatest fear was being hated by everyone, so when Akira told him, “Even if everyone else hated you, I wouldn’t,” he felt a little bit better.
thirty-four
Lightning/Thunder // During thunderstorms, Akira liked to sit as close to Shuji as he could, possibly bundled up in the same blanket, with Akira attempting to coax Shuji into a game of Truth or Dare.
thirty-five
Bonds // Shuji pretended to still be asleep, peeking out through squinted eyes to watch as Akira tried to tie a red thread around both of their pinkies.
thirty-six
Market // “Akira, what are you doing?” Shuji asked when Akira taped a ‘Sold’ sticker to Shuji’s forehead; Akira just smiled, made a ‘kon’ gesture, and replied with, “I’m letting everyone know you’re off the market.”
thirty-seven
Technology // Akira had wanted to make a video declaring his undying love for Shuji-he’d bought the video camera, tried turning it on, got frustrated when it didn’t work, and threw it across the room; Shuji wandered in two minutes later with the batteries.
thirty-eight
Gift // When Shuji was depressed, Akira had a gift for knowing exactly what to say in order to make him feel better.
thirty-nine
Smile // Shuji had two smiles-one for the class, and one just for Akira.
forty
Innocence // If Shuji thought about it, there was something of a childlike innocence about Akira-or maybe he just acted that way because he drank too much, Shuji didn’t know.
forty-one
Completion // “Wait, it’s not done,” Akira commented on a picture he had drawn of him and Shuji; he then drew a heart around them both and said, “Ok, now it’s done.”

forty-three
Sky // Shuji laid back in the grass and smiled-it was slightly amusing that even things like the sky could remind him of the idiot.
forty-four
Heaven // Akira didn’t know what heaven was, but when he was with Shuji, he thought he had a pretty good idea.
forty-five
Hell // Having a crush was hell-having a crush on a guy made it all the worse, it seemed.
forty-six
Sun // On some days, even when he didn’t feel like it, he’d go along with whatever Akira wanted to do, knowing it made the other boy light up brighter than the sun inside because he was so happy.
forty-seven
Moon //They sat up on the rooftop, sharing kisses and whispers, with the moon as their only witness.
forty-eight
Waves // After the school transfer, they stood on the beach, watching the waves roll back and forth before finally splashing each other out of boredom.
forty-nine
Hair // Sometimes it annoyed Shuji that Akira was even starting to copy his hairstyle whenever the other boy stayed over.
fifty
Supernova // Both of them knew that what they had was once in a lifetime-they also knew that eventually it would fade away.
