Apocalypse Challenge - 05 - Be Still

May 03, 2014 02:20

Things are still sort of crazy where I live, the calm down, they start up again. I am still playing this challenge when I have the time and I've had this update half done for months.

It doesn't matter how hectic or boring things could get around the "city" the world might have ended but even then you settle in a rutine to survive, you don't even see it coming. It just happens on it's own, one day it's unberable to try to live like that and a few months later is completely normal. It's hard of course but there is always to work it out.

Jade did the best she could as mother.

Tomas was a sweet little boy, easy to please.

He was healthier than waht you would expect living in such harsh environment

Jade continue her research as best as she could, but without a proper lab there wasn't much she could do.

She had been feeling weak for weeks and once again her growing belly announce the coming of anew family member.

Gabriel only when out to work and Jade was tired of being coop up inside the house, but she was too weak to try to venture to the world.

When you are so tired all the time, the passing of days and weeks seems irrelevant. You can't remember if you ate or slept.

Some moments of are hard to miss thought. The birth of your daughter is one of those moments.

Carrie Anne, small and fragile. Always alert to her surroundings.

At least Thomas had someone to play with. The wolves had become part of the family a long time ago when Gabriel became part of the pack.

Both *insert black wolf name here* and Alabama brought money and resources to their homes. Alabama the white wolf with her cheerful demeanor had become a success in the small but profitable show business. While *black wolf* who was very loyal to those he cared about and completely fierce to strangers, gain a place as security pet.

Thomas grew faster than expected or perhaps his parents miscalculated.

He read everything he could get his hands on. A habit his parents encourage.

Gabriel had acquire scraps and manage to find someone skillful enough to build a bunk bed for his children.

Still when possible Thomas prefer sleeping in the big bed. Which wasn't much of an issue because Michael tend to work most nights.

He was a happy child. Jade although glad that he could find happiness from so little, fear that he might never know something better.

Carrie Anne was as oblivious as her brother about all the wonderful things they had lost before even being born.

Jade tired of being lock up in the house got a small job in security, it wasn't ideal but it was job.

And just like that days started to blur with each other once more.
