On Friday, Kerstin and I cooked Mexican food for a few friends. My enchiladas were much too piquant for German tongues.

We tried to smoke the Chinese guy's hookah, but hardly any smoke came out. Everyone left. Kerstin and I got drunk and danced around the kitchen to techno music. We then frisbeed the very firm tortillas we had made off the balcony and into the street and across the street into the grocery store parking lot.

As Kerstin was falling into a drunken slumber on the couch, I went to buy cigarettes from a machine. For the machine, you must insert a German ID card to prove your age--which I do not possess. The girl next to me was having the same problem and asked to use my ID card. She had a strong anglophone accent, I would have thought American.

I switched to English and asked her where she was from. She was actually from Trinidad and Debogo or however it's spelled. She kept insisting her native language was English, but she had such a foreign-sounding accent even in English.

We mingled with the foreign students a bit and I almost forgot about Kerstin. I came home to find her asleep in my tiny bed.

On Saturday, I met up with a guy named Hasan, who has a major crush on me. I rather suspected it before even coming over to his place, but I did it anyway. We went to the huge gay party together. I danced like a robot and made a fool of myself. Went back to Hasan's, where he made sushi for me and then did pleasant things to me that thankfully did not require my active participation.
