I'm currently coming to the end of my first week of Jury service.
I start at 10.30, finish around 4.15 and get to eat chips at lunchtime.
Hey, you gotta love this justice system of ours.
I have done one short case (possession of cocaine - guilty - £250 fine) and tomorrow will be Day 3 of a meatier ABH and Affray.
Amusing things so far:
PC Whateverhisnamewas forgot to bring his notebook to court. Yeah, you've only had a year to remember it, mate.

Duh! Away when they did comprehension at school were you??
