Tonight's
Eva and
Cristoff's housewarming party, and I've been racking my brain to try and figure out what to get them. I may cop out and bring flowers and wine; the Sunnydale florist has some gorgeous things in their window today. Willy and I could use a good party - we've been trying to figure out what to do with our lives now that we don't have a business to run. We can't stay at the Inn indefinitely, as much as we love it there. This has spurred some not-so-fun discussions about the fact that I have a job and Willy doesn't. He's a very old-fashioned guy. A night out will do us good.
I also find myself nervous about the total absence of
Zorak since the Annual Meeting. He's kind of my boss, you know, and it's weird not to hear anything from him. Not that I miss his sleazy presence. Goddess, no. It just makes me wonder what he's up to.
Ugh, wait, scratch that. I don't even want to know.
