I forgot about this thing. It appears to need updating.
Well, not too long ago I completed learning my Yang Tai Chi long form, and I'm now onto polishing the form to rework everything in more detail and been doing some pushing hands stuff. I've also taken up Tai Chi Sword, I passed my first Shaolin Kung Fu grading and I've applied for a Shiatsu introductory class in September to see what I think of it. That week is looking very busy too since on Sunday I've 6 hours of Shiatsu, Monday I have 1 hour of Hsing Yi followed by 1 hour of Pa Kua, then Thursday I have my Tai Chi class and Saturday I have 2 hours of Tai Chi Double-Edged Sword class immediately followed by 3 hours Shaolin Kung Fu. I intend to do NOTHING the next day.
My
EcoKettle arrived yesterday from
Nigel's Eco Store, and at a mere £35 it's a total bargain. It's really cool and only boils the amount of water you intend to use, and it boils water extremely quickly anyway. This should save a lot of energy as kettles are often horrible energy wasters. I highly recommend it!
Stimpy, my chinchilla hasn't been well. He hasn't been drinking or eating, so we took him to the vet who said his gums were inflamed and had a really sharp tooth that needed dulling down. He's been on antibiotics but has been quite lively. The tricky things has been getting this horrible thick gloopy liquid syringed into his mouth. It smells horrible but apparently he must have it to keep his strength up. He gets all stressed out. It's been difficult for him lately since Ren died a couple months ago. When she didn't come back it was clear he seemed not quite right, so he must have missed her as she has been with him since birth. Ren is now buried in the garden. Stimpy is a tough one though. He's got lots of energy for a chinchilla who lost one of his back legs at the age of 1, lost his life-long friend and suffering from malnutrition and illness. He puts up a strong fight when it's green-gloop feeding time. Poor thing.
