After reading some of the great offerings here, I've decided I so can't write dark fic, so here is my not-so-dark fic.

Guh! And you were worried?? This was exactly what I needed this week. And OH, at the beginning, when I realized it was Niirti that Jack was with! OMG! You actually made me think "OH MY GOD" in all capital letters in my mind. Heh!

I really liked the subtle exploration of Jack's darker side, and this:

“Come on, Carter,” he said in a surprisingly mellow tone, almost cajoling her. “I took a snake for you and you’re surprised that I would kill for you?”

I loved that. Because Jack has always been capable of darker things, and I think Sam realizes that as well, but sometimes she doesn't like to think about it. And Jack O'Neill's loyalty, and his love, would be a heavy, heavy thing to bear. Not to mention, I think he's always wanted to protect Sam from anything that might taint that wonder in her. And he knows the quickest way to do that is to expose (not literally, lol) himself to her.

They're both kind of lost and then found in this. *loves*

:-D That was just the reaction I was hoping for with that beginning.

It was a interesting exercise to delve into the more complicated feelings those two have. Now...I really think I need to write that Dark!Daniel fic... ;-)

You liar you can so write dark fic.Truly awesome because yes she does know about Jack's dark side but she loves him anyway and they both would be lost without each other. Season ten Sam is just so different and confident even snarky because she is with Jack of course. The Nuritti thing I so did not see it coming great job.

How very deliciously dark!

A Jack that's controlling, possessive and able to detach himself so thoroughly from his actions. I've always felt that he could be tipped over into this kind of almost unforgivable callousness.
