For the last couple of days, I've been taking apart upright pianos and vacuuming the inside of it. It is actually quite interesting looking at the mechanism behind a piano, but the downside is the dust and whatever else trapped in the pianos. Out of 16 pianos, I've finished 11. Today I was able to take a break from vacuuming; I installed a cover for concert grand Steinway in the concert hall at the start of the day instead of vacuuming. Yay! Unfortunately a good amount of the installation process (a good 30 mins or so) was spent on getting a splinter out of my finger.
Note to self - pianos are made out of wood, and the bottoms of them are unpainted and unlacquered. Also, splinters can be acquired easily from untreated wood. Therefore...
DO NOT RUN HAND UNDER PIANOS!!!!!!!!!!
With regards of course selection - I have to file a petition. JOY. Now, what is the postal code of my new address again?
